Come, celebrate Diwali at Chinmaya Gurukul with the Chinmaya family!
Here is the program for the evening –
- There will be a short Lakshmi-Kubera puja and Annakoot offering to Sundar Krishna
- Fireworks. Please bring some to share with everyone. We will pool all the fireworks and enjoy lighting them safely
- Dinner feast. This will be a potluck dinner so please sign up for any dinner item or an Annakoot item (Diwali snacks and sweets) to be offered to Sundar Krishna, which we can all enjoy as Prasad.

A variety of dishes are prepared and offered to Lord Krishna and other deities as a way to express our thanks and gratitude to the almighty for bestowing blessings on us.
Below is a sign up sheet with Diwali Snack and Sweets. Please sign up for a sweet and a savory item, or dinner items and let us make the Diwali Puja and celebration a grand success. Instruction for bringing Food items- Please bring all your items in foil tray,
- You can sign up to bring one namkeen (savory/salty), and one sweet item, or you can sign to bring dinner item
- Sweets in a 9 inch round pie tray (20-25 pieces)
- Namkeen (savory/salty) in Small Costco tray
- Bring all your items to ashram by 6:00 PM
