DESCRIPTION:Seva begins at home they say! Our JCHYK Sivananda Samuha has embarked upon a journey to undertake their Seva for their own home\, their own Ashram. \n\n\n\nThey will be selling yummy\, healthy Indian bowls at Bala Vihar on March 29th\, between 10:30am to 12pm. \n\n\n\nAll proceeds will go towards the construction of our Chinmaya Wing! Now thats a cause worth indulging in – when enjoying a delicious meal also becomes Seva!! \n\n\n\nWe encourage all of you to stop by\, and support this noble initiative.

DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to announce that applications for CORD USA Summer Service Visits 2025 are now open for students! To ensure the best experience for everyone involved\, please take note of the following important information below: \n\n\n\nChaperone Selection: Student applications will open only after chaperones have been selected. Once chosen\, chaperones will receive all relevant information. \n\n\n\nFull Program Commitment: Chaperones and students must commit to attending the entire program. Partial participation is not permitted. \n\n\n\nIndividual Applications: Each student must complete their own application independently. Applications submitted by a parent or guardian will be disqualified. \n\n\n\nVisa and OCI Requirements: Participants must meet the visa requirements set by the Government of India or hold an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card. \n\n\n\nAccurate Contact Information: Ensure all email addresses are entered correctly during the application process. We are not responsible for errors\, especially in the email addresses provided. \n\n\n\nSelf-Reliance During the Program: Students will spend two weeks in rural India\, away from their families. They must be self-reliant and use their own email and cell phones for preparatory meetings and communication. \n\n\n\nEmail Acknowledgment: After submitting your application\, you will receive an email acknowledgment. Further updates will be communicated via email—please check your spam folder regularly. \n\n\n\nRecommendation Letter: As a chaperone\, we require a recommendation from your Chinmaya Mission Center coordinator. As a student participant\, we require a recommendation letter from your current Bala Vihar teacher. An email will be automatically sent to her/him once you apply. \n\n\n\nPayment and Visit Details: Detailed payment and visit information can be found in the FAQ document. It is essential to download\, read\, and accept the terms and conditions before applying. SUMMARY:Chinmaya Tej Walkathon 2025
DESCRIPTION:Chinmaya Tej is an annual Walkathon event organized by Chinmaya Mission Alpharetta. CORD (Chinmaya Organization for Rural Development) & United Way of Forsyth will benefit from this fund raising event. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are planning to gather along with family and friends to support  CORD in their initiatives to uplift the lives of villagers from 1000+ villages across India and Sri Lanka and United Way of Forsyth in helping them bridge the gap between the needs that exist\, the services that are provided\, and the cost of making those services available to the folks who need them. \n\n\n\nIt will be fun and inspiring to see many participating cheerfully and contributing to this good cause whole heartedly. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nONLINE TICKET SALES WILL CLOSE AT 10 PM EDT on 4/18/2025. Walkins are welcome and it’s $35 for Adults and Children. This registration does not include T-SHIRT.
