This year\, the camp is proudly called “Summer Smiles – Powered by Shakthi” – a special Devi-themed camp where children will learn about the divine qualities of Maa Saraswati\, Maa Lakshmi\, and Maa Durga. \n\n\n\nThrough inspiring stories\, bhajans\, creative activities\, and engaging games\, kids will explore values such as knowledge\, compassion\, courage\, and inner strength in a fun and meaningful way. \n\n\n\nThe program is thoughtfully designed to encourage personal growth\, teamwork\, and a deeper connection to our culture and values—all while having fun. \n\n\n\nEligibility:This camp is open to Rising 1st graders through Rising 8th graders (grade your child will be starting in Fall 2026). \n\n\n\nEvent Details: \n\n\n\n\nDates: June 8–12\, 2026\n\n\n\nTime: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM\n\n\n\nLocation: Chinmaya Gurukul\n\n\n\n\nRegistration Fee: \n\n\n\n\nEarly Bird Pricing: $300 per child\n\n\n\nRegistration fee increases to $350 starting March 9\, 2026\n\n\n\n10% sibling discount available\n\n\n\n\nWe look forward to welcoming your children for another memorable summer of learning\, laughter\, and lasting friendships at Chinmaya Gurukul.

SUMMARY:Gita Chanting Competition 2026
DESCRIPTION:NOTE: For the competition students will be asked to chant a subset of the verses assigned to their age group.  \n\n\n\nOur annual Gita Chanting competition is scheduled for Saturday March 21st (for children) and TBD (for adults) 2026.  \n\n\n\nThe competition will be conducted in person at the Ashram for children and via Teams for adults.  \n\n\n\nIt will be on Chapter 12\, “Yoga of Devotion/Bhakti Yoga”. \n\n\n\nThe verses to be memorized for the competition are as follows:Shishu-KG: Verses 1-81st-2nd grade: Verses 1-113rd-4th grade: Verses 1-145th-6th grade: Verses 1-177th+ grades: Verses 1-20Adults: entire chapter (verses 1-20) \n\n\n\nAdults: entire chapter (verses 1-20)Note: For adults\, there are 2 parts to the challenge: recitation from memory\, and quiz on the meaning. You can choose to participate in one or both. \n\n\n\nPlease encourage your kids to participate. DESCRIPTION:We welcome all Chinmaya Gurukul families to participate in the divine Maha Shivaratri Puja at our ashram on Feb 15th\, 2026 at 6 PM. The Puja will be conducted by the priest from Hindu temple of Atlanta. Prasad will be served after the Puja. 1. We need RSVPs from you to arrange for a Dinner Potluck. 2. There are opportunities to become Puja Yajaman (who will do puja with all dravayas on a lingam provided by us)\, Archana Sponsorship\, Mala sponsorship.3.
