Enrichment Classes

At Chinmaya Gurukul, we offer a number of enrichment classes for the kids to learn and appreciate Indian Classical music and dance forms. It keeps them connected to their deep roots and gain appreciation for the ancient culture. It can be a very rewarding experience for them.

Currently we offer Tabla, Bhajan and Carnatic music and Kuchipudi dance classes.

Carnatic music class info: Raāga Rasaā School of Music, founded by Kalakshetra alumna and accomplished vocalist Ms. Preethe Sriram, is committed to making the joy of Indian music accessible to learners of all ages and backgrounds.
With over 18 years of teaching and performance experience across renowned cultural venues, Ms. Preethe brings a rare blend of tradition, artistry, and personalized mentorship to every student. The school embraces music in its many forms—Carnatic classical, bhajans, light classical, film music, and therapeutic vocal practices—while nurturing each learner’s unique voice through a structured progression from foundational skills to advanced manodharma.
Through annual recitals, seasonal showcases, and community performances, it offers not just training but an immersive musical journey that inspires confidence, creativity, and lifelong appreciation for the arts.
