Gita Chanting Competition 2023

Our annual Gita Chanting competition is scheduled for Saturday March 25th (for children) and Sunday March 26th (for adults) 2023.
The competition will be conducted in person at the Ashram for children and via Zoom for adults.
It will be on Chapter 3, “karma yoga”.
The verses to be memorized for the competition are as follows:
Shishu-KG: Verses 1-10
1st-2nd grade: Verses 1-15
3rd-4th grade: Verses 1-20
5th-6th grade: Verses 1-25
7th+ grades: Verses 1-30
Adults: entire chapter (verses 1-43)
Note: For adults, there are 2 parts to the challenge: recitation from memory, and quiz on the meaning. You can choose to participate in one or both.

Practice classes for Gita Chanting are available online via zoom every Saturday at 9:30am and 3:30-4pm starting on 11/19.
There is no registration needed to start attending the classes!
However, please register if you are interested in participating in the competition by filling this form.
